I haven’t published any writing publicly in over two years – everything I’ve written has been internal to Stedi. We’re starting to publish it externally now; this first piece discusses the question that has consumed me for the five years since I started Stedi: what makes business integrations – EDI, that is – so hard? Why has no one solved it in any reasonable fashion in the 50+ years since it was developed? And – most importantly – can it be solved?
Over the past five years, we’ve raised $71 million and assembled a team of 75+ engineers, designers, and builders to tackle what I believe to be one of the most complicated problems on the planet: integrating the entirety of the world of commerce.
I hope you enjoy the first post on the Stedi blog: What makes EDI so hard?
I’d imagine that the majority of my future writing will be on Stedi’s blog. If you want to follow along, you can subscribe at the end of that post.
